Point West Credit Union Announces The Promotion Of Mary Navarrete To Director Of Community Impact (Photo) - 11/03/23

Portland, OR (Nov. 3, 2023) – Point West Credit Union is thrilled to announce the promotion of Mary Navarrete to the position of Director of Community Impact. Over nearly two decades, Mary has been an instrumental part of Point West's community development and member service efforts, consistently demonstrating a deep dedication to improving the financial well-being of credit union members and the community at-large. In her tenure as Community Advocate, Point West’s community development efforts have thrived, empowering the communities it serves.

Navarrete’s relentless dedication has yielded exceptional results, reaching over 3,000 individuals in 2023 alone. Her profound passion for fostering connections within the Hispanic community has been instrumental in the credit union’s partnership with the Mexican Consulate of Portland. Furthermore, Mary played a pivotal role in securing Point West's "Juntos Avanzamos" (together, we advance) designation, opening doors to grant funding and an array of community development opportunities.
