The Great Tualatin Easter Egg Hunt Returns March 31st! (Photo) - 03/21/18

For the 45th year in a row, the Easter Bunny will team up with Boy Scout Troop 530 and the Tualatin Lions Club for the best Easter Egg Hunt in the west on Saturday, March 31st at 2:00PM at Tualatin Community Park, 8515 SW Tualatin Rd. Rain or shine, the Easter Egg Bunny has always considered this the biggest and most fun hunt for kids, parents and grandparents!

As always, there will be separate hunts for four age groups. "Toddlers to Twos" hunts in the play area behind the picnic shelter and can have help from moms, dads and grandparents. All the other age groups know what they're doing, so there's no assists for them. "Threes and Fours" hunt, in the volleyball field just south of the Lions Bar-B-Que structure. "Fives and Sixes" hunt in deep left field of the main softball field and the big kids, the "Sevens and Eights" hunt in shallow left field.

The Lions will have signs at each hunting area and a few information signs as well. Each hunter (happy kiddo!) will collect just a few eggs, then trade them in to the Scouts from Troop 530 for a bag of Easter candy. Each hunting area will have 2 "special" eggs that can be turned in to the Scouts for a big special Easter basket prize!

The great Tualatin Cracker Barrel restaurant will again be a contributing sponsor for the Lions Easter Egg Hunt, with special prizes and coupons for Hunters and their families. The Tualatin Lions and Scout Troop 530 are proud and happy of the relationship with Cracker Barrel.

The Lions will gladly accept any non-perishable food donations for the Tualatin Schoolhouse Pantry and will be selling freshly popped popcorn, soda and water with proceeds going to scholarships to the Tualatin Police Summer G.R.E.A.T. Camp.

The Lions and Scouts look forward to helping the Easter Bunny put smiles on the faces of several generations of Easter Egg Hunters in Tualatin, especially the youngest!

For more information, please email tualatinlions@gmail.com. The Tualatin Lions meet on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month at 6:30pm the Tualatin Island Greens Golf Center. The Lions, as the "sponsoring organization" can also steer you to Boy Scout Troop 530 and Cub Scout Pack 35.
