5/2/2023 call time 1338 hours, Illinois Valley Fire District, AMR-Josephine County, Josephine County Sheriff's Office and Pacific Power responded to 5xx East River St (The old pool building), for a commercial structure fire.

Arriving units found an active fire, just inside the front door to the structure, with smoke showing from the roof.

The fire was quickly extinguished, and will be investigated.

Rural Metro Fire - Josephine County was initially dispatched to the scene and was re-directed to cover the District from the Selma IVFD Station.
