IVFD wanted to thank the Oregon State Fire Marshal's office for awarding the Illinois Valley Fire District $35,000.00 for the "Wildfire Season Supplemental Staffing Grant." This will bring on additional staffing during the 2022 wildfire season.

We will start the staffing on Monday, June 27, 2022 and the shift times will vary, depending on weather conditions and incident responses within the Fire District.

This is an exciting opportunity from the state legislature funding through Senate Bill 762 to help boost capacity through equipment upgrades and people.
