Calling All Adventurers! - Experience Columbia Springs Like Never Before with Geocaching Adventure Labs

VANCOUVER, WA (May 17th, 2021) – Do you enjoy being outdoors? Do you have an affinity for scavenger hunts? Are you just looking for a fun outdoor activity to do with friends and family?

If you answered yes to any of the questions above, you’re in luck! Columbia Springs has partnered with Geocaching to bring you an Adventure Lab experience like none other. Read more to find out how you can get involved.

What is an Adventure Lab?

If you have ever gone geocaching, you know that it involves exploring outside using hints and coordinates to find a prize. People all around the world are avid geocachers, and come together to create wonderful caches for each other.

In this time of social distancing, Geocaching has released yet another way for anyone to be a wilderness explorer. Adventure Labs take participants on a scavenger hunt, where they must correctly answer a question at each waypoint. Play on your own, with your pod, or compete against others to see who can complete all the adventures in your area first.

This program is in its early development stages, which is why we need testers like you to let us know how to make it even more fun! By getting involved now, you can help shape the future of this project.

What does this have to do with Columbia Springs?

We miss seeing all of your friendly faces at field trips, summer camps, and events! What better way to still give you the Columbia Springs experience than with a self-guided behind the scenes tour of the property? This Adventure Lab will take you to some of our favorite places on site so that you can feel the magic for yourself.
