A Central Oregon taskforce was sent to the White River Fire complex today around 2pm. The task force consistes of five fire aparatus from Bend, Redmond, Sunriver and Alfalfa Fire Departments headed by task force leader Dave Philips from Black Butte Ranch. The White River Fire is on the MT. Hood National Forest, 13 miles southeast of Government Camp. Currently the fire is approximatly 4,500 acreas, 10% contained with 300 homes being threatened.
