Arrested: Clinton Kevin Holland, 61 years of age, Redmond, Oregon
Charges: Murder II
NARRATIVE
During the investigation into the murder of Nicole Jakubek, detectives served multiple search warrants. The search warrants led to evidence linking Clinton Kevin Holland to the murder. On 7/7/2020 an arrest warrant was issued for Holland for Murder II. The warrant was later served on Holland at the Northern Oregon Regional Corrections Facility in the Dalles, Oregon where he is currently in custody on unrelated charges. Holland will be transported to the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office Jail upon being released by Hood River County on his current charges.
This investigation is ongoing, any additional information will be released by the District Attorney's Office. The Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the Oregon State Police Crime Lab, Redmond Police Department, the Hood River County Sheriff’s Office, the Deschutes County District Attorney’s Office, and Jakubek’s family and friends for their assistance in this investigation.

Victim: Nicole G. Jakubek Age: 54 Redmond, Oregon
This case is now an active murder investigation. Detectives have been working this case since yesterday and last night were granted a search warrant for the residence and property.
The victim has been identified as Nicole G. Jakubek of Redmond. Her family has been notified and our thoughts are with them during this extremely difficult time.
A suspect in this case has been identified and is in police custody. He was arrested outside of Deschutes County overnight and is currently being held on unrelated charges. His identity is not being released at this time to ensure the integrity of the investigation.

NARRATIVE:
On July 6, 2020, at approximately 10:30 am, deputies with the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a residence in the 300 Block of SW 35th Street in Redmond to perform a welfare check on an adult female after a family member called in reporting he was unable to get ahold of her. Deputies arrived and found an adult female deceased inside the residence. DCSO detectives have been called to the scene and they are working with the Oregon State Police Crime Lab, Medical Examiner’s Office, and District Attorney’s Office on this active investigation.
