Cyclist Injured in Traffic Crash in Cornelius - 11/26/24

On Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at 5:19 p.m., Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies serving the City of Cornelius responded to reports of a collision between a cyclist and a vehicle near the intersection of Baseline Street and SW 345th Avenue. 

The cyclist was seriously injured and taken to a local hospital by responding paramedics. 

The vehicle driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation. No criminal charges have been filed at this time. 

The Washington County Crash Analysis Reconstruction Team responded to investigate.
