Man Arrested for Attempted Murder - 11/26/24

On Monday, November 25, 2024, at 10:31 a.m., Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a disturbance with a weapon near the 17000 block of NW Joscelyn Street in Beaverton after the caller reported hitting his grandfather with a baseball bat. 

Arriving deputies located the victim with severe trauma to the head. The victim was transported to a local hospital by ambulance and is expected to survive. 

The caller, 26-year-old Peter Stine of Beaverton, was arrested and lodged in the Washington County Jail for attempted murder, assault in the first degree, and unlawful use of a weapon.
