On Tuesday, February 20, 2023, at 11:30 p.m., officers from the Portland Police Bureau (PPB) located Edward Loo in NW Portland. The Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the community and PPB for their help in finding Loo.

On Tuesday, February 20, 2023, at 8:45 p.m. Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a missing and endangered person in unincorporated Washington County near the City of Tigard. Deputies learned 89-year-old Edward Loo left his home near the 8200 block of SW Glencreek Court and did not return. Loo left in his 2018 4-door Honda Civic, with Oregon license plate 545KWD, and was going to the Pet Smart near Washington Square. Loo never arrived at Pet Smart.

Loo was last seen wearing blue jeans and a navy-blue t-shirt. Loo is 5’ 5”, 160 lbs., has white hair and brown eyes, and wears glasses.

Loo lives with dementia and may be disoriented when located.

Please contact the Washington County Sheriff's Office at 503-629-0111 or your local law enforcement agency if you know where Loo is or have any information.
