Missing Person (Photo) - 10/27/22

On Thursday, October 27, 2022, at approximately 1:00 a.m., deputies responded to a missing person call in Gaston. Deputies learned that at about 1:00 p.m on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, 74-year-old Epifanio Garza told family members he was going hunting alone but did not return. The last communication to the family stated he would head west toward Barney Reservoir on NW Pike Road. 

Garza is 5’ 4” with gray hair and a mostly white beard. He wears glasses and is thought to be wearing sweatpants with either a Ducks or Broncos sweatshirt and an orange vest. He drives a black Chevrolet Colorado truck with license plate number 074HZN. Anyone with information about Garza is asked to please call the Washington County Sheriff's Office at 503-629-0111 or their local law enforcement agency.
