Deputies Have Located Missing Man (Photo) - 02/16/21

Update: Mr. Odell has been located safe.


On Tuesday, February 16, 2021, Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies were notified 60-year-old Stephen Odell is missing. Family and friends told deputies Mr. Odell possibly went to the Mt. Hood area with his elderly dog early Saturday (2/13/21) morning to go snow camping. Mr. Odell’s family and friends have not heard from him since Friday (2/12/21) night.

Mr. Odell’s last known location was near the Interstate 5 corridor, slightly south of the Salem Airport area.

Deputies believe Mr. Odell is traveling in his 2012 Chevrolet Suburban, Oregon license plate: 687GEU, with his elderly dog.

Mr. Odell is six feet tall, weighs approximately 185 pounds, has black hair and brown eyes.
