Thanksgiving Morning Vehicle Break-In Leaves Behind Grieving Victim (Photo) - 11/28/19

On Thursday, November 28, 2019, at 11:35 a.m., Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the report of a theft from vehicle in the 10300 block of SW Hollyridge Lane in the community of West Slope.

A citizen reported that sometime overnight, someone broke into his 2003 Ford Explorer and stole items. The victim is heartbroken, as one of the items taken was a container which held his late grandfather’s cremains.

A photo of that item is not available at this time.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s help in identifying the suspect in this matter.

Anyone with relevant video footage or information about this crime is asked to please contact a deputy by calling 503-629-0111.
