Update: Man Fatally Stabbed His Mother Before Killing Himself - 01/12/19

The two deceased individuals from yesterday’s investigation in Aloha are being identified as Lisa Marie Gellings, 49, and David Jaymes Gellings, 23. Based on the investigation, detectives determined David fatally stabbed his mother Lisa inside their home and then shot and killed himself.

Homicide Investigation Underway After Two Found Deceased

January 11, 2019 -- On Friday, January 11, 2019, 5:16 p.m., Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a residence at the Pine Ridge Mobile Park, located at 6900 Southwest 195th Avenue in Aloha. A woman reported finding two unresponsive adults.

Deputies arrived and located a deceased male and female inside the home.

Detectives from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office Violent Crimes Unit responded and are leading the investigation. They are being assisted on scene by Forensic Science Unit personnel.

Investigators do not believe there is a danger to the public.

Additional information, including identifications of the deceased, will be released at a later date.
