Update: Missing Endangered Man Located - 11/02/18

The man who was reported as missing endangered on Wednesday, John Jackson, was located around 10 p.m. yesterday evening by a family member. He was found to be in good health. The Washington County Sheriff’s Office wishes to thank the public and media for their assistance.

Deputies Searching For Missing Endangered Man Near King City

October 31, 2018

On October 31, 2018, at 11:52 a.m., Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a report of a missing person from the 13000 block of Southwest Beef Bend Road near King City.

Deputies learned 60-year-old John Jackson walked away from an adult care facility around midnight the evening prior and has not returned home.

Mr. Jackson is diagnosed with schizophrenia and other medical conditions and is not believed to have access to critical medications. Mr. Jackson is not in possession of a cell phone or have access to money.

Mr. Jackson is described as a white male, 6’2” tall, slim build, clean-shaven, with reddish-grey hair. He was last seen wearing a yellow rain jacket, burgundy jeans, a dark orange shirt, and black Dr. Martens shoes.

Deputies searched the area where Mr. Jackson was last seen but are unable to locate him. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call non-emergency dispatch at (503) 629-0111.
