Puget Sound Educational Service District Honors Regional High School Art Show Winners - 03/15/18

Puget Sound Educational Service District (PSESD) is proud to announce the 12 regional winners of the High School Art Show. These entries received the highest scores and will advance to the 45th Annual State Superintendent's High School Art Show co-hosted by the Washington State Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction and the Washington Art Education Association. These students (and other award winners) will be honored at a reception on Wednesday, March 21, 2018, from 6:00pm -- 8:00pm at PSESD, 800 Oakesdale Avenue SW, Renton, WA.

"The caliber of artistic talent in our region constantly amazes me," remarked Meg Hannan, PSESD Art Show Coordinator. She continued, "This year's students created masterful pieces in many different art forms. Our region is also fortunate to be guided by dedicated teachers and teaching artists who help students tap into their creative potential."

M. Baumgardner, Garfield High School, Seattle School District
S. Fish, Rogers High School, Puyallup School District

PSESD is one of nine regional educational agencies serving school districts and state approved charter and private schools in Washington State. ESDs improve the quality, equity and efficiency of educational programs through partnerships with K-12 programs, early learning, higher education and private organizations. PSESD provides these programs and services to 35 school districts, 200 private schools and nine charter schools in King and Pierce counties and Bainbridge Island. PSESD's END, or mission, is Success for Each Child and Eliminate the Opportunity Gap by Leading with Racial Equity.
