The Portland Police Bureau is relieved to report that Alexander Lewis Jr. has been found safe. An alert community member spotted the 10-year-old and contacted law enforcement. A deputy with the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office drove Alexander home.

The Portland Police Bureau’s Missing Persons Unit is looking for a missing endangered child and anyone who sees him is asked to contact PPB.
Alexander Lewis Jr., 10, was last seen on Friday, February 2, 2024, leaving his father’s home in the area of East Burnside Street and Southeast 146th Avenue. Alexander was seen getting off a bus near Southeast 202nd Avenue and Northwest Division Street in Gresham. Detectives believe Alexander may have been heading to his mother’s home in the area of Northwest 12th Street and Northwest Wonderview Drive, but nobody has seen him.
Detectives consider Alexander missing endangered because of his age and time away from home.
Alexander is a Black male, 5’6”, 130 pounds.
Anyone who sees Alexander is urged to contact PPB’s Missing Persons Unit at missing@police.portlandoregon.gov and reference case number 24-26263.
