UPDATE: Man Killed in Beaumont-Wilshire Neighborhood Shooting Identified (Photo) - 02/07/24

The man killed in a shooting in the Beaumont-Wilshire Neighborhood has been identified as Laronn M. Allen, 39, of Portland. His family has been notified of his death. They are requesting privacy at this time, but they did provide a photo for public release.

The Medical Examiner determined Allen died of homicide by gunshot wound.

A man is deceased after a shooting in the Beaumont-Wilshire Neighborhood, and Homicide Unit Detectives are investigating.

On Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 6:45 p.m., North Precinct officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 3700 block of Northeast Milton Street. When they arrived they found a man deceased in the street.

The suspect or suspect left the scene before police were called and no immediate arrests were made.

The Portland Police Homicide Unit is responding to the scene to investigate. During the investigation, Northeast Milton Street is closed between Northeast Cesar E. Chavez Boulevard and Northeast Alameda Street.
