Three suspects were booked into jail related to this case.
Reece A. Miller, 23, unknown residence, was the suspect who ran from the car and was located by SERT officers. He was booked into the Multnomah County Detention Center (MCDC) on a parole violation hold.
The driver of the stolen vehicle, Dakota T. Butler, 23, of Portland, was booked into MCDC on charges of Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, Driving While Suspended or Revoked (misdemeanor), Furnishing False Information to Police, and three warrants out of Clackamas, Marion, and Polk Counties.
A passenger in the vehicle, Shaylee M. Lord, 20, of Canby, Oregon, was booked into MCDC on a Clackamas County arrest warrant.
The other passenger was released at the scene without criminal charges.
The investigation is continuing.

The search for the suspect in the Centennial Neighborhood has concluded and the shelter in place notice has been lifted.
On Thursday, November 16, 2023 at 10:14p.m., East Precinct Officers were alerted by a participant in the Facebook group PDX Stolen Cars to a possible stolen vehicle in a grocery store parking lot in the 14500 block of Southeast Division Street. Officers confirmed the vehicle was stolen.
Officers conducted a traffic stop on Southeast 145th Avenue just south of Southeast Division Street. One occupant ran from the vehicle. Officers set up a perimeter around the neighborhood. The investigation suggested that the suspect could be armed, so the Special Emergency Reaction Team and the Crisis Negotiation Team responded to the scene. A shelter in place notice was sent to residents. Three other people in the vehicle were detained. The vehicle was recovered.
SERT officers located and arrested the suspect at 12:49a.m. No other suspects are outstanding related to this incident. The perimeter was cleared and the shelter in place lifted shortly afterward.
The investigation is continuing.

The Special Emergency Reaction Team (SERT) and Crisis Negotiation Team (CNT) are responding to the Centennial Neighborhood to assist in the search for a suspect who ran from officers on foot and is believed to be hiding from the police in the neighborhood. Area community members have been notified via the Public Alerts system to shelter in place. The area is Southeast Division Street to Southeast Powell Boulevard, Southeast 141st Avenue to Southeast 145th Avenue. Traffic is also blocked on Southeast 145th Avenue. A PIO is responding to the scene.
