UPDATE: Aubrey Brandvold Found, Returned Home Safe (Photo) - 09/14/23

Aubrey Brandvold was located safe and returned home today. The Portland Police Bureau is grateful for the numerous community tips we received, and for the news media for assistance in raising awareness of this case.

A 12-year-old girl is missing and the Portland Police Bureau needs the public’s help finding her.

Aubrey Leannlynn Brandvold ran away from her house near Southeast Powell Boulevard and Southeast 108th Avenue on the evening of September 7, 2023. Based on further investigation, detectives consider Aubrey missing/endangered. It is believed she may have visited the St. Helens area in the last several days.

Aubrey is described as a white female, 5’2-5’5, 80-90 pounds, with black shoulder length hair with some blonde mixed in. She was last seen wearing a black beanie hat, black sweater, black sweats, and a backpack with smiley faces. Aubrey was also carrying a blue bag (photo included).

The Portland Police Bureau Missing Persons Unit is investigating. The St. Helens Police Department assisted with the investigation but as of yet they have not located Aubrey in the area.

If anyone sees Aubrey, please immediately call 911. If anyone has information about this case, please e-mail missing@police.portlandoregon.gov and reference case number 23-236529.
