On March 14, 2023, at 10:24 a.m., North Precinct officers were dispatched to the 17900 Block of Northeast Marine Drive on the report of a crash. Officers arrived to find a vehicle down an embankment and determined the driver of the vehicle to be deceased.

The Major Crash Team (MCT) has responded to the scene and is assuming control of the investigation. Northeast Marine Drive will be closed from Northeast 158th Avenue to Northeast 185th Drive while investigators process the scene and collect evidence.

There were no witnesses to this crash who have contacted police, and there are indications it occurred sometime overnight.
