The victim in this homicide is identified as 36-year-old Racheal Angel Abraham. The Medical Examiner determined the cause of death as manual strangulation and the manner of death a homicide. Abraham’s family has been notified of her death, and they provided the attached picture for public release. Abraham's family is asking for privacy at this time.

A man has been arrested as a result of this homicide investigation in the Powellhurst-Gilbert Neighborhood.
33-year-old Mohamed Osman Adan was arrested and has been booked into the Multnomah County Detention Center on the charges of Murder in the Second Degree (Domestic Violence) and Unlawful Use of a Weapon.

On Saturday, August 27, 2022, at 7:01 a.m., officers from the East Precinct responded to a disturbance call in the 3200 block of Southeast 92nd Avenue. Officers arrived to find an adult female who was deceased. An adult male has been detained as part of the investigation.
