On Wednesday, a Multnomah County Grand Jury indicted Jordan M. Phillips, 32, for two counts of Attempted Murder in the First Degree with a Firearm, two counts of Unlawful Use of a Weapon with a Firearm, and Felon in Possession of a Firearm. A photo of the involved firearm is attached.
He was also indicted for a March 10 incident for Felony Fleeing or Attempting to Elude a Police Officer and Recklessly Endangering Another Person.
The Multnomah County District Attorney's office is prosecuting the case. Phillips is innocent unless and until proven guilty.

The suspect who fired a shot during an arrest Thursday has been booked into jail on Attempted Murder and other charges.
Jordan M. Phillips, 32, was booked into the Multnomah County Detention Center on charges of Attempted Murder in the First Degree, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, and Resisting Arrest. He is also being held in jail on a parole violation detainer.

A suspect is in custody after firing a shot during an arrest in the Pleasant Valley neighborhood.
On Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at 1:16p.m., East Precinct officers responded to a report of a suspected stolen vehicle, a white Ford van, found in the 11300 block of Southeast Foster Road. When they arrived, they located the suspected stolen vehicle and began an investigation. It was occupied and they tried to contact the occupants. One adult male got out and tried to run away. Officers tried to physically detain him but the suspect resisted officers and fired a shot.
No officer was hit and no one was injured by gunfire. Officers were able to get him into custody and seize a semiautomatic handgun as evidence.
The Portland Police Homicide Unit detectives responded to investigate. During the investigation, Southeast Foster Road is closed between Southeast 111th Avenue and Southeast 122nd Avenue.
