Victim Shot Multiple Times, Suspect Information Sought - 06/05/21

A man is in the hospital with multiple gunshot wounds after a shooting in the Lents Neighborhood.

On Friday, June 4, 2021 at 8:03p.m., East Precinct officers were dispatched to a report of someone shot near the 8400 block of Southeast Lafayette Street. When officers arrived they located an adult male victim in the street with multiple gunshot wounds. The officers performed lifesaving measures until paramedics arrived and took over patient care. The victim was transported to a hospital via ambulance. His injuries were determined to be serious, but he is expected to survive.

No arrests have been made, and no suspect information is being released.

The Enhanced Community Safety Team (ECST) responded to the scene to investigate. Detectives still hope to speak with people who may have information about this incident. If anyone has information about this case, please reference the case 21-151674 and e-mail crimetips@portlandoregon.gov .
