Man Suffers Injury from Gunfire in St Johns Neighborhood - 04/01/21

A man is recovering from a gunshot wound after a shooting in the St. Johns Neighborhood.

On Thursday, April 1, 2021, at 7:26p.m., North Precinct officers responded to a call of a shooting near North Lombard Street and North Chicago Avenue. Officers responded and located an adult male victim nearby. He was transported to the hospital and is being treated for a non-life threatening injury.

The Enhanced Crisis Intervention Team (ECST) is responding to investigate. During the investigation, North Lombard Street and North Chicago Avenue are closed to traffic and pedestrians.
