Vulnerable man missing from southeast Portland care facility - 03/15/21

The Portland Police Bureau Missing Persons Unit is asking for help locating a vulnerable person.

68-year-old George Pickett walked away from a care facility in the 7400 block of Southeast Division Street during the morning of March 12, 2021. Mr. Pickett is an African American male, 6'1", weighs 180 pounds, with gray hair. He no longer has the beard seen in his ID photo.

He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, black pants and black Nike shoes. He does not have identification or money with him.

Mr. Pickett suffers from dementia and anyone who sees him should call 911 so police and medical personnel can check his welfare.
