Shooting Investigation Underway in Cully Neighborhood, One Individual Injured - 10/17/20

On October 17, 2020, at approximately 12:40 a.m., North Precinct officers responded to the 5200 block of Northeast Columbia Boulevard on reports of a shooting at an auto body shop which is used as a nightclub. A 911-caller, who was no longer at the location, stated their vehicle had been shot while attending a gathering at the location. Officers arrived on scene and found evidence of gunfire, including shell casings.

As officers collected evidence outside the location of the shooting, a separate victim, who had also been at the location, walked into a local hospital with a single gunshot wound to the leg. The victim's condition is serious. As officers continued their investigation, they learned a shooting had occurred inside the auto body shop as well.

No other victims have come forward at this time and a suspect has not been arrested in regards to this incident.
