Shooting Investigation Underway in Lents Neighborhood - 10/15/20

On October 15, 2020, at approximately 10:09 p.m., East Precinct officers responded to a gas station located in the 5500 block of Southeast 82nd Avenue on reports of a shooting. When officers arrived on scene they learned a victim was filling up their gas tank when a suspect vehicle drove through the parking lot and fired rounds towards them. The victim was grazed in the ankle by a bullet. The victim's vehicle was also struck by bullets as well as one of the gas station's pumps. The victim's injuries were minor and they were not taken to the hospital.

The suspect vehicle was described as a silver Subaru sedan. The suspect is still outstanding.

The PIO is not responding to the scene.

If anyone has information about the shooting and has not been contacted by investigators, they are asked to call the non-emergency line at 503-823-3333.

An update will be provided if appropriate for the investigation.
