Shooting Investigation Underway in Sunderland Neighborhood, One Individual Injured - 09/11/20

On September 11, 2020, at approximately 12:40 a.m., North Precinct officers responded to the 3300 block of Northeast Sunderland Avenue on reports of a shooting. Officers arrived on scene and located evidence of gunfire and a victim that had been shot superficially in the leg. Officers learned an unknown subject shot the victim in the leg and then left the area. The victim was treated on scene for injuries but not taken to the hospital.

Given the circumstances of the incident, there is no threat to the community.

If anyone has information about the shooting and has not been contacted by investigators, they are asked to call the non-emergency line at 503-823-3333.

An update will be provided if appropriate for the investigation.
