Shooting Investigation Underway in St. Johns Neighborhood - 07/05/20

On July 5th, 2020, at approximately 12:42 a.m., North Precinct officers responded to a residence located in the 6600 hundred block of North Columbia Boulevard on reports of a shooting.

Officers arrived at the location and learned someone inside a moving vehicle had fired a gun which was aimed towards the residence. A single bullet traveled through two walls of the residence, narrowly missing two young children and an adult sleeping inside a bedroom. No one was injured.

At this time, the suspect has not been located and this continues to be an ongoing investigation.

If anyone has information about the shooting and has not been contacted by investigators, they are asked to call the non-emergency line at 503-823-3333.

An update will be provided if appropriate for the investigation.
