Please Join The Portland Police Bureau In Welcoming The Two Newest Members Of The Portland Police K9 Unit (Photo) -04/19/20

Kylo is a two-and-a-half year old German Shepherd who was born and originally trained in Germany before being imported to California, where he was acquired by the Portland Police Bureau. Kylo is happy, quirky, goofy, and loves to match his howl to the pitch of the siren when responding to calls. His favorite things to do outside of work are explore the forest and play with his little brother Apollo, a mini dachshund. Harcos, a one-and-a-half year old Belgian Malinois had no formal training when he came to us by way of Hungary. Many hours were spent by the trainers teaching Harcos what it meant to be a Portland Police Bureau Canine. When not at work, Harcos loves sunbathing in the yard and playing with sticks. Both K9's completed the Oregon Patrol Dog certification on April 14, 2020 and are now taking patrol calls in the greater metropolitan area. Continue to follow the Portland Police K9 Unit on Instagram and Facebook, to see all of Kylo's and Harco's amazing captures!! #portlandpolice #portlandpolicek9unit #policek9 #germanshepherd #oregonpolicek9association @ Portland, Oregon
