PPB Investigating Shooting-No Reported Injuries, Bus Struck by Bullet - 11/27/19

On Wednesday, November 27, 2019, at 2:51 p.m., North Precinct Officers responded to the area of the North Vancouver Avenue and North Morris Street on multiple reports of a shooting.

Officers responded to the area and did not locate anyone injured and no one has shown up at area hospitals with injuries related to this incident. They did locate evidence of gunfire, as well as bullet strikes to the pavilion in Dawson Park. It was later learned that a TriMet bus was struck by one round as it was traveling by, but no one was injured.

Members of the Gun Violence Reduction Team responded to investigate the shooting. They are asking for the public's help with information. If anyone has information to assist in the investigation, please contact Detective Ryan Foote at (503) 823-0781 or ryan.foote@portlandpolice.gov
