This morning, 45 year-old Ian Alexander Kramer was arrested in North Portland by The United States Marshals Service at the request of the Portland Police Bureau.

Kramer was identified by Portland Police Bureau Detectives as a suspect involved in the disturbance in the 800 block of Northeast Couch Street on May 1st, 2019.

Kramer had multiple outstanding warrants related to this incident, including a warrant for Assault II, after being indicted by a Multnomah County Grand Jury.

As part of this investigation, a search warrant was executed at his residence. Portland Police Bureau Assault Detectives located several items related to the disturbance. A metal baton was recovered from Kramer's residence as part of this investigation. (PHOTO)

"Criminal violence is not tolerated in the City of Portland and our investigators have worked diligently on this case," said Chief Danielle Outlaw. "While these cases can take time, and delays in arrest can be perceived as indifference or lack of care, the opposite is true. Our investigators are attentive to detail, working behind the scenes to put together the strongest case possible for consideration in coordination with local, state and federal partners. We appreciate the assistance of our partners with the United States Marshals Service and the Multnomah County District Attorney's Office."
