Stabbing in Downtown Portland-Victim Sustains Non-Life Threatening Injuries - 02/19/19

On Tuesday, February 19th, 2019, at 4:35p.m., Central Precinct officers responded to the Greyhound Bus Depot at 550 Northwest 6th Avenue on the report of a subject who had been stabbed.

When officers arrived they located an injured adult male. The victim appeared to have been injured by a knife and was transported by ambulance to a Portland hospital for treatment of what is believed to be a non-life-threatening injury.

Officers detained one subject and he was interviewed and released. This is an on-going investigation.

Officers identified a crime scene and temporarily closed down traffic in the area in order to process evidence. All traffic is back to normal now.
