Suspect Arrested In Connection to October 11, 2018 Shooting (Photo) - 01/07/19

On Friday, January 4, 2019, members of the United States Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force located and took 24-year-old Christopher A. Jacobo into custody. Jacobo was located in a residence in the 13000 block of Southeast Ramona Street.

This investigation began on Thursday, October 11, 2018, at 9:00 a.m., when North Precinct officers responded to the Rodeway Inn Hayden Island, located at 1401 North Hayden Island Drive, on the report a person had been shot.

Officers arrived and located an adult male in the northeast parking lot of the Roadway Inn Hayden Island property suffering from what was believed to be a gunshot injury. The victim was transported to a Portland hospital by ambulance for treatment of what were believed to be serious life-threatening injuries. The victim survived his injuries.

Detectives believe Jacobo was involved in this incident based on information gathered during the investigation.

Members of the United States Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force also located and arrested 35-year-old Christopher L. Irvin in connection with this investigation. Irvin was arrested on Thursday, November 1, 2018..

Jacobo and Irvin are lodged at the Multnomah County Jail. Jacobo was lodged Friday, January 4, 2019, on charges of Robbery in the First Degree, Attempt Aggravated Murder, Assault in the First Degree, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, and a Parole Violation warrant for a previous conviction of Burglary in the First Degree. Irvin was lodged Thursday, November 1, 2018, on charges of Robbery in the First Degree (two counts), Unlawful Possession of a Motor Vehicle, Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, and a Parole Violation warrant for a previous conviction of Burglary.

Jacobo will be arraigned in Multnomah County Court on Monday, January 7, 2019.
