On Thursday, December 13, 2018, at 12:34 a.m., East Precinct and Gresham Police Department officers responded to the report of a shooting near the Speakeasy Lounge, located at 545 Southeast 162nd Avenue.

Officers arrived in the area and spoke to witnesses who told police they observed an occupant of tan Mitsubishi Diamone fire a handgun from the vehicle.

There was no reports of anyone injured at the scene or arriving at area hospitals as a result of this shooting. Officers canvassed the area and located evidence of gunfire on Southeast 162nd Avenue. There was no property located that was believed to be damaged as a result of this shooting.

Members with the Portland Police Bureau Tactical Operation Division's Gun Violence Response Team responded to assume the investigation. Criminalists with the Forensic Evidence Division also responded to assist with the investigation
