Shooting Investigation Underway in Southwest Portland - No Injuries - 12/05/18

On Wednesday December 5, 2019, at 2:01 a.m., Central Precinct officers responded to the report of non-injury shooting in the 10900 block of Southwest Capitol Highway.

Officers arrived in the area and spoke to witnesses who told police that there was a disturbance outside the residence and an unknown person fired a gunshot towards the residence. The gunshot damaged a window but did injure anyone.

The suspect, a tan-skinned male in his 20s or 30s, left the area in an unknown make white pickup.

The Gun Violence Response Team (GVRT) responded to conduct an investigation.
