On Sunday December 2, 2018, at 10:31 p.m., North Precinct officers responded to the report of a shooting in the area of Northeast 10th Avenue and Halsey Street.
Officers and medical personnel arrived in the area and located a 33-year-old male suffering from a non-life-threatening injury. The victim, who was not cooperative with police, was transported by ambulance to a Portland hospital for treatment and is expected to survive.
Officers located evidence of a shooting, including damage to a vehicle associated with the victim.
The suspect was described as a 25-35 year old white male, 6'00" to 6'2" tall, skinny, blonde hair, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and jeans.
The Gun Violence Response Team (GVRT) responded to conduct an investigation.
