###ORIGINAL MESSAGE BELOW###

The Portland Police Bureau's Missing Persons Detail is asking for the public's help to locate a 66-year-old man, missing since Wednesday afternoon.

66-year-old Henry Brown is described as a Black male, 5'7" tall, 145 pounds, last seen wearing a dark blue puffy jacket, jeans, black Nike shoes that glow in the dark, and a black baseball hat. Brown may also be wearing sunglasses and walking with a cane.

Brown reportedly left his residence in the 5800 block of Southeast 84th Avenue on Wednesday afternoon to take a walk to the neighborhood store at Southeast 84th Avenue and Foster Road. Brown did not return home, which is uncharacteristic.

Brown is suffering from dementia after a medical event and is prone to confusion. Brown should respond to his name if contacted.

Anyone seeing Brown is asked to call 9-1-1 so that officers may check his welfare. Anyone with non-emergency information about Brown should contact Detective Lori Fonken at 503-823-1081, lori.fonken@portlandoregon.gov.
