On Friday October 19, 2018, at 7:32 p.m., East Precinct officers responded to the report of gunfire in the area of the 10100 block of Southeast Steele Street.

Officers arrived in the area and spoke to witnesses who reported hearing several gunshots in the area. No victims were located at the scene. At 7:45 p.m., a gunshot victim arrived at Portland Adventist Medical Center by private car. The victim was then transported by ambulance to a different hospital with serious injuries.

At this point in the investigation, there is no confirmed suspect information to share.
