Shooting Investigation Underway on SE Division St - No Known Injuries - 06/11/18

On Monday, June 11, 2018, at 9:54 p.m., East Precinct officers responded to the report of gunfire at the Tik Tok Restaurant and Bar, located at 11215 Southeast Division Street.

Multiple callers contacted 9-1-1 to report that a suspect had fired multiple rounds into the Tik Tok Restaurant and Bar. When officers arrived at the location, they contacted employees and patrons at the location and learned no one was injured inside the restaurant and bar.

Officers canvassed the area, searching for possible victims, suspects and evidence of gunfire. Evidence of gunfire was located in the parking lot of the Tik Tok Restaurant and Bar. Officers also located multiple bullet strikes to the location.

Based on preliminary information, officers believe a suspect arrived at the location, threatened a person inside the business and fired a gun multiple times.

Officers searched for the suspect but have not located the suspect believed responsible for this shooting. At this time in the investigation, investigators do not believe there is an immediate danger to the public in relation to this shooting investigation.

There have been no reports of any arriving at area hospitals with injuries as a result of this shooting.

Criminalists with the Forensic Evidence Division have responded to assist with this investigation.

The Portland Police Bureau Detective Division's Assault Detail will continue the investigation.
