On Monday, May 21, 2018, at 1:26 p.m., North Precinct officers responded to the report of gunfire in the 4800 block of Northeast 15th Avenue.

During the investigation, officers canvassed the area, searching for possible victims, suspects and evidence of gunfire. Evidence of gunfire was located on Northeast 15th Avenue.

There were no injured persons located at the scene of this shooting or that arrived at area hospitals. There were also no reports of any property damage as a result of this shooting.

This shooting investigation is in the early stages.

During this investigation, Northeast 15th Avenue will be closed between Northeast Wygant Street and Northeast Alberta Street.
