Bank Robbery Tuesday Afternoon in Downtown Portland -- No Injuries - 05/15/18

On Tuesday, May 15, 2018, at 2:38 p.m., Central Precinct officers responded to the report of a robbery at the U.S. Bank, located at 410 Southwest Harrison Street.

Officers arrived in the area and spoke with employees who told police, the suspect entered the bank, displayed a knife and demanded money. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash the suspect left the location without incident.

Officers searched the area but did not locate the suspect.

The suspect is described as a white male, in his late-20s, five feet two inches tall, with a skinny build and a scruffy beard. Witnesses also stated the suspect appeared to be hunched over during the robbery.

Portland Police Bureau Robbery Detail Detectives and Federal Bureau of Investigation Agents will continue this robbery investigation.
