Members of the Portland Police Bureau Detective Division's Assault Detail continue to investigate a shooting that occurred on Northwest Naito Parkway under the west end of the Broadway Bridge Monday morning.
The adult male victim was transported to an area hospital by ambulance with what was believed to be a serious non-life-threatening gunshot injury.
The suspect was not located after officers searched the area with the assistance of a canine team.
Based on information learned at this time in the investigation, there is not believed to be an immediate danger to the community in relation to this shooting.

On Monday, March 19, 2018, at 9:45 a.m., Central Precinct officers responded to the report of a person with a gunshot wound on Northwest Naito Parkway under the west end of the Broadway Bridge.
Emergency medical personnel arrived, provided the injured adult male victim medical aid and transported him to an area hospital by ambulance with what was believed to be a serious injury.
Officers are performing a neighborhood block search for the suspect with the assistance of a canine team.
This incident is in the early stages of investigation.
