Suspect Arrested by Officers on Enhanced Patrol in Portland's Irvington Neighborhood (Photo) - 02/12/18

On Monday, February 12, 2018, at 12:16 p.m., North Precinct officer assigned to address livability issues in the Irvington Neighborhood performed a traffic stop on the driver of a maroon Pontiac Grand Prix.

Officers had observed the Grand Prix hit the west curb of Northeast 7th Avenue near Northeast Sacramento as the driver proceeded south on Northeast 7th Avenue. As the officers attempted to perform a traffic stop, the driver made multiple turns through the neighborhood streets while driving the Grand Prix. Officers searched for the driver and vehicle in the neighborhood and located both in the 600 block of Northeast Thompson Street.

When officers located the vehicle and driver, the driver had exited the vehicle and stood at the door to a residence on Northeast Thompson Street. Upon confirming the man at the door was the driver of the Grand Prix, the officers determined the suspect had been Driving While Revoked. Officers also learned the man did not live or know anyone at the residence.

As officers continued their investigation they located a semi-automatic handgun and a substance they believed to be cocaine inside the vehicle. The gun and illegal drugs were seized as evidence.

The suspect was taken into custody without incident and has been identified as 24-year-old Jeremiah Franciscoda Fuller. Fuller was lodged at the Multnomah County Jail on charges of Driving While Revoked (Misdemeanor Treatment), Possession of Cocaine (Felony Treatment), and Possession of a Loaded Firearm in City of Portland.
