UPDATE: Three Suspects Arrested in Connection to Sunday Evening Robbery (Photo) - 01/22/18

Officers arrested 19-year-old Lamarr Juan Luster Jr, 20-year-old Kobe Branden Cordray, and 17-year-old Angelo Dewayne Luster on Sunday evening near Northeast 99th Avenue and Northeast Sandy Boulevard.

This investigation began when officers responded to investigate a robbery at the Neighborhood Market, located at 9061 Northeast Sandy Boulevard. During the investigation officers learned the suspects had left in a white Ford Excursion. A description of the Ford Excursion was broadcast to responding officers. Port of Portland and East Precinct officers located a white Ford Excursion at a gas station near the intersection of Northeast 99th Avenue and Northeast Sandy Boulevard.

The responding officers performed a traffic stop on the Ford Excursion and its occupants. During the traffic stop officers observed additional information that suggested the occupants in the vehicle were involved in the recent armed robbery at the Neighborhood Market. Lamarr J. Luster Jr, Kobe B. Cordray and Angelo D. Luster were directed out of the Ford Excursion and placed into custody.

Lamarr J. Luster Jr Kobe B. Cordray were both lodged at the Multnomah County Jail. They were each charged with two counts of Robbery in the First Degree and two counts of Robbery in the Second Degree. Angelo D. Luster was lodged at the Donald E. Long Detention Home on charges of Robbery in the First Degree and Robbery in the Second Degree. Lamarr and Cordray will be arraigned on Tuesday, January 23, 2018.

Detectives continue to investigate this robbery and believe Lamarr J. Luster Jr, Kobe B. Cordray and Angelo D. Luster may be involved in additional robberies in the Portland metropolitan area. On Sunday, January 21, 2018, at 8:14 p.m., North Precinct officers responded to the report of a robbery at the Neighborhood Market, located at 9061 Northeast Sandy Boulevard.

Officers arrived at the market and learned two suspects entered the location and demanded money while one of the suspects brandished a firearm. The suspects obtained an undisclosed amount of cash. While leaving the location a suspect fired a handgun at the victim. The victim was not struck by the gunfire.

Responding officers searched the neighborhood but did not locate anyone matching the suspects' description. The suspects were described as two black males.

There are no surveillance images available for public release at this time.
