Lorenzo L Jones

On Friday, January 19, 2018, 44-year-old Lorenzo L. Jones was taken into custody by members of the Eugene Police Department in Eugene, Oregon during a traffic stop. Jones was arrested on a Multnomah County warrant related to the September 17, 2017 murder of 27-year-old Wilbert Butler in the 3600 block of Southeast 28th Avenue.

Based on information learned by the Portland Police Bureau Detective Division's Homicide Detail during this investigation, a warrant was issued for Jones' arrest.

Jones was lodged at the Multnomah County jail on a warrant for Murder and Unlawful Use of a Weapon. Jones will be arraigned on Monday, January 22, 2018.
