News Release
Shooting Investigation Monday Evening in Portland's Hazelwood Neighborhood -- No Known Injuries - 12/12/17

On Monday, December 11, 2017, at 7:37 p.m., East Precinct officers responded to the report of gunfire in the 12000 block of East Burnside Street.

Officers arrived and located several witnesses and evidence of gunfire. As officers searched the area, they located a maroon Mitsubishi sedan with a bullet strike.

No gunshot victims were located at the scene or have arrived at any area hospitals.

Based on information learned at the scene, the Gang Enforcement Team is responding to conduct an investigation into the shooting. Criminalists with the Forensic Evidence Division also responded to the scene to assist with the investigation.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the Tactical Operations Division at 503-823-4106.

Crime Stoppers of Oregon offers cash rewards for information, reported to Crime Stoppers, that leads to an arrest in any unsolved felony crime and tipsters can remain anonymous.
