Wildfire Evacuations Cancelled On Dads Creek Fire" - 09/02/25

DADS CREEK FIRE; GLENDALE, Ore. - Effective at 2:45 p.m., the previously issued Level 1 - "BE READY" evacuation notice for the Dads Creek Fire has been cancelled as a result of fire suppression efforts. No evacuation notices are currently in effect for residents impacted by this fire or any other incident in Douglas County. This is the final update from the Sheriff's Office regarding this incident.

DADS CREEK FIRE; GLENDALE, Ore. - A Level 1 - "BE READY" evacuation notice remains in effect this morning for some homes near the Dads Creek Fire, burning on Lower Cow Creek Road near Glendale. In coordination with structural and wildland fire agencies, the Douglas County Sheriff's Office has issued the Level 1 evacuation notice for all addresses between 30482 - 31302 Lower Cow Creek Road. 

 

A Level 1 - "Be Ready" Evacuation notice means residents should be aware of the danger that exists in the area, monitor emergency services websites and local media for information, and begin preparation. This is the time for precautionary movement of persons with special needs, mobile property, and, under certain circumstances, pets and livestock. If conditions worsen, emergency services personnel may contact you via the emergency notification system.

All Douglas County residents are encouraged to sign up for emergency notifications through Douglas Alerts at www.dcso.com/alerts. This system is used to notify residents in an emergency, including wildfire evacuations.
