Amity Man Arrested For Sexual Abuse; Investigators Concerned About Additional Victims (Photo)

On August 23, 2026, the Yamhill County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit initiated an investigation into a reported sexual assault of a child that occurred in rural Amity, Oregon. The named suspect was identified as Lloyd Earl Rosenbalm (63), who is also known as Jay Rosenbalm.
On August 26, 2026, detectives located and arrested Rosenbalm at his residence in Amity. He was booked into the Yamhill County Correctional Facility on six counts of Sex Abuse in the First Degree (ORS 163.427) and one count of Unlawful Sexual Penetration in the First Degree (ORS 163.411).
During the investigation, detectives developed reason to believe there may be additional victims who are unknown to investigators at this time.
